On the tabletop RPG front, we’ve been playing a Savage Worlds Pulp game, and I’ve been working on a custom form-fillable PDF character sheet, which I may post soon.
For computer gaming, I still haven’t managed to finish Among the Sleep, the excellent horror (suspense?) game from Krillbite studios. It’s not a long game, but with kidlets underfoot, I never seem to have time to play anything, except Minecraft, which I’ve bene playing with my 3 year old daughter.
On the Minecraft front, I’ve been playing on my friend Steve’s server a lot lately. You can check out his support website at Trollstone.com.
My old Minecraft server is still plugging along.
I just ran Overviewer on the Minecraft server, but it’s a big upload to this server. It is apparently a big upload (over 3 GB), and GoDaddy’s hosting service isn’t necessarily fast. It’s uploading as we speak, and you can view the map at mc.trollstone.net, but results will vary as the map uploads.
I may just eventually host it on the Minecraft server itself, and forward to it.
Running a new campaign now, also GUMSHOE powered: Night’s Black Agents.
Using Tavern Keeper for campaign management, same as for Mutant City Blues.
Started running an RPG campaign for the first time in about 4 years.
Running Mutant City Blues from Pelgrane Press. A police procedural / super-heroes mashup, where there aren’t so many costumes.
Character creation went relatively smoothly, and got a decent start on building Mutant City in Vancouver.
